Duties

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across long-distance routes, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
• Load and unload freight using forklifts or roll-off trucks when required, ensuring cargo integrity and proper handling
• Drive a variety of specialized trailers including refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to accommodate different types of freight
• Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries while complying with Hours of Service regulations to prevent fatigue
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and recent experience operating tractor-trailers in an over-the-road setting
• Proven experience with manual transmission trucks preferred
• Ability to operate various trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
• Delivery driver experience with freight handling and load & unload responsibilities
• Skilled in driving route planning and navigation over long distances across diverse terrains
• Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus for loading/unloading freight at facilities
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance (DOT regulations)

Pay: $1,800.00 - $1,950.00 per week
