OTR Delivery Truck Driver (Class A CDL or Non-CDL for 26 ft Box Truck

Job Summary

LJ Uptown LLC is seeking dependable and professional Delivery Truck Drivers to join our growing team. We operate both Class A tractor-trailers and 26 ft box trucks. Class A CDL is required for tractor-trailer operation, but not requiredfor the 26 ft box truck. Drivers will be responsible for delivering refrigerated goods to customers while upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate assigned vehicle (tractor-trailer or box truck) to deliver refrigerated goods to designated locations.

Conduct pre-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports daily.

Use pallet jacks to assist with loading/unloading; warehouse team handles forklifts.

Rotate and stock goods at delivery points per company standards.

Maintain clean vehicles and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Collect signatures on all delivery documents and retain fuel/toll receipts.

Communicate promptly regarding any delivery issues or delays.

Uphold DOT regulations and all traffic laws during operation.

Stay professional and courteous in all customer interactions.

Be accountable for the truck and cargo at all times.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL (for tractor-trailer only). CDL not required for 26 ft box truck drivers.

Must have a DOT physical exam certification.

Must possess a valid TWIC card.

Pass a background check and drug test

Absolutely no drug use or smoking of controlled substances while driving.

Clean driving record with knowledge of DOT rules and safety regulations.

Previous experience in refrigerated freight delivery preferred.

Ability to lift/move goods using a pallet jack.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: 20% of weekly gross revenue

Weekly pay every Friday

Additional pay for unloading,

Schedule

Hours will comply with DOT driving time regulations

Flexibility required — some weekends or holidays may be needed

Employment Terms

This is an at-will position; employment may be terminated at any time by either party.

Immediate termination may result from any violations of company policy, especially those related to safety or substance use.
