Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across regional and national routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Haul flatbed freight, including oversized or specialized loads, with attention to securement and safety protocols.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, adhering to safety standards.
• Manage route driving efficiently, planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules while complying with hours-of-service regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer, including refrigerated trailers when necessary, to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any issues that arise on the road.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, load details, and delivery documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in truck driving, especially with flatbed trailers or tanker loads preferred.
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently.
• Experience with freight load & unload procedures using forklifts or other equipment.
• Knowledge of route planning, load securement techniques, and safety standards for flatbed trucking.
• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers or refrigerated freight handling is a plus.

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,662.00 per week

Work Location: On the road
