Our company pays 70/30 for every load. Driver gets a 70% because driver is responsible for fuel and tolls (can be avoided by not using the tolls roads).

We are seeking reliable and dedicated Van Drivers to join our team. This is an Over the Road (OTR) position only. Please do not apply if you can’t be OTR for more than a week. The ideal candidate requires to stay OTR for 2-3 weeks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, loading and unloading procedures, and the ability to operate a van and other warehouse equipment as needed. Individuals with Passport and TWIC cards will have a speedy process.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a van to deliver goods to designated locations according to scheduled routes.
• Maintain constant communication with the dispatch office, and owner of the company.
• Will provide constant status updates when arrived at the shipper, when loaded and have the Bill of Lading (BOL) in hand, able to take pictures of the BOL and the load, and similar status updates when arrived at the receiver.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients during deliveries.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Capable of reporting any damage to the vehicle or the freight, instead of ignoring it or trying to hide it.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate efficient loading processes and manage inventory levels.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably in a commercial driving capacity.
• Suitable candidate/(s) will be able to obtain TWIC, TSA certification, and also able to obtain US Passport.
• Familiarity with route driving and local traffic laws.
• Ability to operate smartphones, familiar with downloading apps, basic settings functions, and able to bring personal smart phone.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Will be able to sign a contract and safety check list, along with liability involving damages or accidents.
