OTR Truck Driver

Overview
Join our team as an Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver and experience long-haul freight transportation across diverse routes! In this vital role, you will operate tractor-trailers pulling refrigerated trailers to deliver freight safely and efficiently. Your expertise in commercial driving and route management will keep goods moving smoothly from Texas to Midwest and South East regions . We’re looking for experianced drivers who thrive on independence, enjoy navigating various terrains, and are committed to safety and excellence on the road.

Duties

• Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, ensuring safe handling and compliance with all traffic laws
• Drive across long distances, managing route schedules to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety standards
• Transport a variety of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, or other freight types
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in accordance with federal regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or unforeseen delays

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven 3 yrs experience in truck driving
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and familiarity with refrigerated trailers
• Ability to handle various types of refrigrated freight efficiently and safely
• Experience with route driving across multiple states or regions preferred
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to trucking operations and cargo handling
• Must past DOT physical and DOT drug test. **We do not accept drivers in SAP programs**
