Outbound Sales Development Representative

Vendogram offers AI education programs for schools, university and institutional AI training, student programs, and private AI platform pilots for institutions that need approved materials, source-grounded answers, supervision, role-based access, and governance.

Role Summary

We are hiring an Outbound Sales Development Representative to contact potential customers across North America, qualify opportunities, and book meetings for Vendogram’s AI education programs and platform offerings.

This role is focused on researching target customers, outbound calling, email outreach, lead follow-up, CRM updates, and appointment setting. You will call schools, universities, training institutions, law faculties, legal clinics, research groups, and other education partners in the United States and Canada.

Vendogram will provide access to Microsoft Teams with an unlimited calling plan for North America.

What You Will Sell

You will help generate interest and book meetings for:

  • AI programs for schools
  • AI, robotics, coding, STEM, and enrichment programs
  • After-school and seasonal programs
  • University AI literacy workshops
  • Faculty AI enablement programs
  • Student development and applied AI learning programs
  • Research and teaching pilots
  • Private AI learning platform pilots
  • Legal education platform pilots for law faculties, legal clinics, bar preparation programs, and supervised training

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospects in the United States and Canada
  • Research target customers in the target sales territories
  • Research and build targeted lead lists across schools, universities, training institutions, and education partners
  • Contact decision-makers by phone, email, and LinkedIn where appropriate
  • Qualify prospects and identify fit for Vendogram programs or platform pilots
  • Book discovery calls and meetings for the Founder & CEO or sales lead
  • Follow up with prospects professionally and consistently
  • Maintain accurate notes, pipeline status, and next steps in CRM or tracking tools
  • Use Microsoft Teams for outbound calling
  • Support basic email campaigns and outreach sequences
  • Track daily and weekly outreach activity, conversations, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities
  • Provide feedback from the market on objections, questions, pricing concerns, and customer needs
  • Help improve scripts, messaging, and outreach lists over time

Required Skills

  • Strong English fluency (REQUIRED)
  • Professional phone communication skills
  • Comfortable making outbound calls daily
  • Ability to speak clearly, confidently, and politely with North American prospects
  • Experience in sales, appointment setting, lead generation, or business development
  • Ability to research prospects and identify decision-makers
  • Strong follow-up discipline
  • Good writing skills for email and LinkedIn outreach
  • Organized and able to manage leads, notes, and pipeline updates
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams, CRM tools, spreadsheets, and online research tools
  • Ability to work independently and meet activity and results targets

Nice to Have

  • French language skills (optional but a plus)
  • Experience selling to schools, universities, education organizations, or training institutions
  • Experience with EdTech, AI, software, training, or professional services
  • Experience using HubSpot or another CRM
  • Experience with LinkedIn outreach
  • Familiarity with the North American education market
  • Experience booking meetings with senior decision-makers

Success Measures

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Number of quality outbound calls completed
  • Number of decision-maker conversations
  • Number of qualified meetings booked
  • Number of qualified opportunities created
  • Quality of lead research and targeting
  • Follow-up consistency
  • CRM accuracy
  • Market feedback captured
  • Contribution to actual sales pipeline and revenue opportunities

Expected Activity

As a starting expectation, the role should be able to manage:

  • Create a target list per territory
  • Research target customers
  • Daily outbound calling
  • Daily email and LinkedIn follow-up
  • Weekly lead list building
  • Weekly reporting on activity and results
  • Consistent meeting booking with qualified prospects

Final activity targets will be agreed after onboarding and market testing.

Work Arrangement

  • Remote contractor role
  • Calling North America using Microsoft Teams
  • Must overlap with Eastern Time, Canada
  • Paid monthly
  • 6-month renewable contract
  • Reports directly to the Founder & CEO

Pay: E£10,000.00 - E£20,000.00 per month
