Outbound Sales Representative – In Office

This is an in‑office, outbound inside sales role based in Dublin, Ohio.


Junior Library Guild (JLG) provides expertly curated book collections to K–12 schools and public libraries nationwide. Librarians rely on us to keep their shelves filled with high‑quality, in‑demand books for young readers.

We are growing our in‑office Inside Sales team in Dublin, Ohio and are hiring motivated, phone‑driven sales representatives who thrive in a high‑activity, metrics‑driven environment. This is an outbound role with clear expectations, strong coaching, visible wins, and real earning potential.

About the Role

This is a high‑activity, outbound inside sales position based in our Dublin office.

  • In‑office, team‑based environment

What You Will Do

  • Maintain 90 minutes of daily talk time
  • Complete 100+ outbound touchpoints per day (calls and emails)
  • Prospect, pitch, and close new customers, while supporting renewals
  • Learn library collection needs and recommend subscription solutions
  • Track activity and results using dashboards and scorecards
  • Participate in daily coaching and team collaboration
  • Stay focused and productive, even on slower days

Schedule Options (In‑Office)

  • Mon–Thu: two days 8AM–5PM and two days 10AM–7PM; Fri: 8AM–5PM
  • Mon–Thu: 10AM–7PM; Fri: 8AM–5PM
  • Mon–Fri: 8AM–5PM

Schedules are designed to support outreach across multiple time zones.

Travel: Up to 10% for conferences and events.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of outbound or inbound inside sales experience
  • Comfort in a high‑volume, metrics‑driven environment
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar CRM tools
  • Coachable, competitive, resilient mindset
  • Interest in selling over the phone

Compensation and Benefits

  • On‑target earnings: $90k - fully ramped top performers make over $100k with uncapped commissions
  • Base salary: $48,000 plus commission and bonus
