Summary

Tiffany Lawn & Garden Supply, Inc. - Indy's premier landscape supply store is actively seeking to add a Warehouse Support Associate to the Northside Indianapolis location. The Warehouse Support Associate will actively engage with customers and create an exceptional in-store experience. They embody our Mission and values in their words and actions while demonstrating selling and service expertise, product knowledge, and strong point-of-sale proficiency.

The Warehouse Support Associate will report to the Inventory Manager and will work cohesively with the Sales, Dispatch, and Call Center teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience. The right candidate will be energetic, customer focused, and determined to add value within a fast-paced environment. All qualified candidates should submit their resume for consideration. A valid Drivers license and the ability to pass a Drug Screen ARE REQUIRED.

This is a SEASONAL position starting Mid March and running through Late Summer/Early Fall.

PEAK SEASON (April-May) REQUIREMENTS:

• Shift hours Monday through Friday; 7:15 am – 5:00 pm
• Mandatory overtime to include Saturday 7:30 am – 3:00 pm

Responsibilities:

· Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.

· Communicate effectively with customers with utmost urgency and professionalism

· Become an expert in our product categories; understand and communicate product knowledge (including features and benefits) to the customer.

· Organize and clean warehouse, stockyard, retail lobby to maintain product levels and accuracy

· Safely and effectively load product by hand or equipment into customer vehicles

· Ensure accuracy of order fulfillment by referencing load slips

· Assist with loading, weighing, reporting large stone orders

· Assist with replenishment standards cycle counts, and stock checks

• Collaborate with other departments to problem solve orders with inventory issues or changes needed

· Demonstrate a high level of quality work, attendance, and appearance.

· Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management

· Maintain and operate equipment according to company guidelines and safety standards

· Adhere to all local, federal, and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.

Qualifications:

· Ability to safely and effectively operate a forklift

o Forklift certification preferred

· Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.

Ability to stand for prolonged period of time

· Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers and coworkers

· Attention to detail and proofreading skills

· Ability to independently manage areas of responsibility

· Minimum 1 year of exceptional work preferably within a warehouse or landscape environment

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 75 lbs. on a regular basis. Employees must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment both inside and outside.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
