Outdoor Nursery Laborer/Equipment Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable individual to join our team at a busy plant nursery. This position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, assisting customers, handling materials, and operating equipment to load bulk products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load bulk materials such as rock, dirt, mulch, and soil into customer trucks and trailers
• Operate skid steer (Bobcat) safely and efficiently
• Assist customers with product selection and loading
• Maintain clean and organized yard, bins, and work areas
• Perform general labor tasks including lifting, moving, and stacking materials
• Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines

Requirements:

• Experience operating a skid steer (Bobcat) or similar equipment required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and dependability
• Good communication skills
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Work Environment:

• Outdoor, physically demanding work
• Exposure to dust, heat, cold, and uneven terrain

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Weekend availability may be required

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
