Outdoor Operations & Turf Crew (Seasonal)

Deertrak Golf Club is seeking resilient, hardworking individuals to join our Field Operations team for the 2026 season. This role is specifically designed for high school and college students looking for a high-intensity outdoor position during the summer months.

Unlike standard landscaping roles, this position focuses on the physical infrastructure and restoration of our 18-hole course. You will be a key part of the crew maintaining our signature waterfalls, bridges, and bunkers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual Excavation & Grading: Extensive use of shovels and hand tools for moving dirt, sand, and stone.
• Irrigation Maintenance: Assisting with the repair and installation of water lines and drainage systems.
• Heavy Material Logistics: Physical transport and placement of sod, mulch, and construction materials.
• Course Detailing: High-intensity raking, bunker shaping, and site clearing to maintain championship-level aesthetics.

Schedule & Availability

• Core Season: June through September (Perfect for academic breaks).
• Shifts: Early morning and afternoon availability are required.
• Overtime: Periodic overtime opportunities exist based on project deadlines and course needs.

Compensation & Student Perks

Requirements

• Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor for 8+ hours in all Wisconsin weather conditions.

• Reliability: Punctuality is critical; the crew relies on every member to start the day on time.
• Minimum Age: 16+ years old.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
