Outdoor Power Equipment Mechanic (1+ years exp req)

Smitty’s Lawn and Garden Equipment is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team! This is a full-time position in an air-conditioned/heated shop. You need to be able to work 6 days a week (Mon through Sat.) in the busy season (Busy Season is in the Spring from March through June).

In this role, you will be responsible for the repair, setup, and diagnosis of engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components on a wide range of outdoor power equipment. All work must be completed in an efficient, orderly manner following the guidelines set by the Service Manager.

Equipment you will work on includes:

• Commercial mowing equipment
• Residential lawn mowers
• Small Tractors
• Trimmers & blowers
• Chainsaws
• Generators
• Various small-engine outdoor power tools

Applicants MUST have their own tools.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High level of energy, motivation, and strong work ethic
• Absolute integrity and honesty, positive attitude; reliable, professional behavior
• Must have your own vehicle/reliable transportation
• Computer literacy required
• Diesel experience is a plus
• Bilingual skills are a plus!
