Job #44116: Outdoorsy And Nurturing Nanny Needed For An Active Family In Denver Metro, CO (exact location TBD)

Location: Denver metro area (final neighborhood to be confirmed ASAP). Family is currently targeting south Denver areas such as Wash Park, Belcaro, or Centennial.

Message from Family: Mom and Dad are both physicians. Mom is an emergency room doctor and Dad is an orthopedic surgeon. We are very active and outdoorsy—running, biking, hiking, triathlons, swimming, climbing… overall, we just love sunshine, nature, and working out! We currently have a nanny in Michigan who we adore, but sadly, we can't bring her with us when we move to Colorado in June 2026, so we are starting the search for a new nanny there.

Mom's parents are local and fill in care gaps on Fridays, weekends, evenings, and during call shifts if needed, but we will still be looking for a nanny given how frequently Mom and Dad are away for work.

We also have a calm, 7-year-old border collie who is very low-maintenance… He just needs to be let out in the backyard a couple of times. He has an interesting personality that we can talk more about if and when a nanny comes over to our house for the first time!

About the Child: Our chunky girl is currently 8 months old but will be approximately 11–12 months old at the time we hope for our nanny to start. She is curious, motivated, calm, good-natured, and super snuggly. So far, it seems like she loves being outside in nature, crawling around and exploring, going for walks in the stroller, and being worn in a baby carrier.

Their Ideal Nanny: Someone motherly and nurturing, kind, outdoorsy, active, creative, and independent. We're looking for someone who can integrate seamlessly into our family, take initiative, and be proactive. Reliability and dependability are top priorities, along with maintaining a screen-free environment.

Additional Job Details: We would prefer a nanny who has their own reliable transportation and is a non-smoker. We have no specific dietary or religious preferences, and while availability for occasional nights and weekends is a plus, it is not required.

Expected Job Duration: 2+ years

Duties:
Light housekeeping
Cooking for the child

Schedule: Monday–Thursday coverage with a flexible schedule (typically 6-10 hours per day) falling between 7 am-5 pm
* Guaranteed 32 hours a week, the weekly schedule will be provided a week in advance
* Occasional date nights, evenings, overnights is a plus

Compensation: $30-$33 per hour, DOE
