Outpatient Clinical Supervisor - Occupational Health

Job Description

Inova Health – Occupational Health is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Clinical Supervisor to join the team. This role will be full-time day shift from Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. This role is well-suited for:

  • LPNs and RNs seeking a step into leadership without direct reports
  • Candidates prioritizing schedule consistency and long-term growth
  • Professionals with occupational health experience looking to expand their scope

Job Locations: Alexandria, Ashburn, Manassas

Outpatient Clinical Supervisor Job Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance and clinical support to team members in assigned functional area, which may include but not limited to, ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, managing and tracking performance, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed.
  • Ensures compliance and best practices with clinical operations, direct patient care, and patient education. Responsible for the administration and application of all clinical nursing functions, procedures and protocols.
  • Manages patient care effectively and timely by working collaboratively and maintaining active communication with members of the primary care team.
  • Utilizes standards, guidelines, policies, procedures and clinical pathways for delivery of care.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing
  • Licensure: LPN licensed
  • Experience: 1 year of nursing or related healthcare experience
  • Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Occupational Health, including Worker's Compensation, OSHA, Vaccination programs
  • Previous Leadership Experience
  • Training and Education Experience
