Your expertise will support patients through crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and patient intake procedures using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Provide individual, and family counseling utilizing evidence-based approaches including behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patients’ needs.
• Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support patients experiencing acute mental health challenges or emergencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans that incorporate social work principles, medical terminology understanding, and case management strategies.
• Document all patient interactions accurately within medical records while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program; valid state licensure as an LCSW or equivalent.
• Proven experience in outpatient mental health settings with a focus on behavioral health counseling.
• Strong knowledge of psychotherapy modalities including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and addiction counseling.
• Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data management; experience with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/10).
• Experience working with children and families
• Ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging patients across diverse backgrounds; sensitivity to cultural differences.
