Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Outpatient Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate mental health and behavioral services to diverse patient populations. In this engaging position, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Your expertise will support patients through crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and patient intake procedures using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Provide individual, and family counseling utilizing evidence-based approaches including behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patients’ needs.
- Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support patients experiencing acute mental health challenges or emergencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans that incorporate social work principles, medical terminology understanding, and case management strategies.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within medical records while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program; valid state licensure as an LCSW or equivalent.
- Proven experience in outpatient mental health settings with a focus on behavioral health counseling.
- Strong knowledge of psychotherapy modalities including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and addiction counseling.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data management; experience with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/10).
- Experience working with children and families
- Ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols.
