Duties
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure patient safety during acute episodes.
- Provide specialized counseling for conditions including PTSD, addiction, grief, chronic pain, gender issues, and developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans, coordinate case management efforts, and document medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling or related mental health field from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics or individuals with disabilities in outpatient or clinic settings.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health treatment modalities including behavioral therapy, psychopharmacology basics, crisis management, and ICD coding practices.
- Demonstrated skills in motivational interviewing, patient assessment, case management, and social work practices.
