About the Role

As a member of our Shalimar team, you’ll help patients regain strength, confidence, and independence through customized care plans and hands-on treatment. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while being supported by a team that values excellence and empathy.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based interventions that promote recovery and functional improvement.
• Educating patients and families on exercises, self-care, and prevention strategies.
• Documenting patient progress clearly and adjusting care plans as needed.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other therapists for coordinated care.
• Providing guidance and supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Current Florida PT license (required).
• Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate).
• Outpatient experience preferred — but new graduates are welcome!
• Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills.
• A passion for helping others and a commitment to high-quality, compassionate care.
