Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and administrative support, particularly in an outpatient setting.

Duties

• Perform patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare patients for their appointments by taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Administer medications as directed by their treatment plans and ensure proper documentation.
• Complete medical documentation and review of patient records.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the examination rooms and equipment.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Handle laboratory specimens and assist with minor surgical procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Physician Assistant or similar role in a clinical environment.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology helpful
• Experience working in an outpatient setting is desirable.
• Ability to administer medications accurately and safely.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in using medical systems for record keeping and appointment scheduling.
• Compassionate approach towards patient care

Time

This is a flexible part-time on-site role for 1-2 days during the week days, currently seeking 10 - 20 hours per week, from 11 am to 7 pm.
