Outside Customer Service Representative/Medical Sales

Job Summary

Athena Specialty Group is now hiring for a Customer Service Representative to join our team! We are in growth mode - expanding nationally into other states - and building out an amazing sales team with a fun, hardworking culture.

Athena is looking for a driven candidate that has a competitive nature and a desire to learn.

This position is primarily responsible for marketing and promotion of Athena’s comprehensive wound care services throughout their aligned geography. This position will work directly with experienced leadership to develop and execute specific strategies and tactics to achieve sales quota. The applicant must be highly motivated, flexible, and sales/service oriented. The area would cover Salem, OR to Albany, OR.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prospecting: Identifying and reaching out to potential customers or leads
  • Service Knowledge: Understanding the company’s services thoroughly to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Establish and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication to engage with customers and team members.
  • Referral Quota: Meeting or exceeding referral targets set by leadership.
  • CRM Usage: Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage leads, track interactions and manage sales opportunities.
  • Training and Development: Participating in training programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Reporting: Providing regular reports on sales activities, progress and challenges to sales management.
  • Adaptability: Being flexible and willing to learn in a dynamic sales environment.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License is required

Education And/or Experience

  • Four-year college degree with two years of medical sales experience preferred.

Skills, Knowledge And Abilities

  • Successful completion of Athena’s training and competency assessments
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development
  • Geographically located within the assigned territory

Language Skills

  • English (reading, writing, verbal)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision. Must be able to travel by plane and automobile (if applicable).
