Emerald Equipment Systems is seeking a strong sales candidate with experience in the aggregate industry.

As an at Emerald Equipment Systems, you will promote and sell a comprehensive range of equipment wear parts, conveyor belting, and screen media for our premier customers throughout New York State. You will be responsible for regularly visiting and soliciting the major accounts for their parts needs and wants. This Outside Representative is to be responsible for their defined customer base and will be accountable for meeting/exceeding their expectations while providing excellent service.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The essential job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Serve amicably as company ambassador to the client providing comprehensive information to ensure positive relation and future sales
  • Understanding of product(s) to be sold and communicate freely with the customer to not only understand their current needs but provide suggestions in upselling
  • Ability to recognize crushing, screening, and conveying equipment and discuss potential solutions with customers
  • Ability to effectively engage prospective customers for future sales
  • Ability to work as a team, ensuring concise communication is continued from point of sale to varying team members as the order is completed and sent to the customer
  • Strong computing ability to digitally process all paperwork associated with a sale
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to keep your workdays effective and efficient while traveling

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong sales experience at least (5-6 years) required
  • Quarry or Construction operations experience preferred
  • Experience in maintaining strong customer relationships with clients and suppliers required
  • Accountability – Required for all commitments and decisions
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills required
  • Must be technically inclined to understand the products
  • Some overnights required

This position is for an established Territory with a large customer base, dealing mainly with large aggregate producing accounts. This position has a high earning potential with no cap

  • Salary + Commission

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
