Outside Sales Account Representative

America’s OB/GYN Board Review Course, Inc.

America’s OB/GYN Board Review Course, Inc. is seeking an ambitious and experienced remote Outside Sales Account Representative, whose primary objective will be to increase market share throughout the U.S. This person will contribute to the development of sales and growth of ABC’s OB/GYN review courses, webinars, workshops and products offered to OB/GYN physicians to achieve and maintain their board certification.

Target Market:

OB/GYN physicians in training (Residents and fellows) & new practitioners

OB/GYN physicians: private & academic practitioners

OB/GYN Residency and fellowship program coordinators & directors

OB/GYN Subspecialists in Maternal Fetal medicine (MFM), Reproductive endocrinologist (REI), Gyn Oncologists,

and Urogynecologists (URPS).

Job Responsibilities:

The primary objective of this position is to build strong professional relationships with the directors and managers of OB/GYN Residency and Fellowship Programs throughout the U.S., as well as with individual OB/GYN residents, fellows & subspecialty physicians.The goal is to generate ongoing student, residency, fellowship and professional relationships and grow sales for the company.

  • This will be achieved by leveraging a variety of approaches, including but not limited to:

- Making connection via telephone, email and direct mail as well as on-site personal visits to academic centers/hospitals/doctors’ offices/Residencies/Fellowships etc as deemed necessary to introduce product and services and develop needed relationship for sales

-Engaging in presentations through virtual media, such as webinars, video conferences and/or audio conferences; communications via telephone, email and/or direct mail

-creating, generating and implementing sales initiatives to boost sales of products and services

  • Planning, designing, executing and managing a vendor display at various exhibitions and conferences in the U.S.; this to be accomplished in liaison with other ABC staff members, particularly the Director of Marketing
  • Track sales activities and maintain customer and program point of contact information in CRM database
  • Create proposals and present quotes to residency programs, as well as track payments within reasonable time frame prior to ABC review courses
  • Track monthly, quarterly and year over year progress with sales analytics tools
  • Work closely with marketing team to develop and implement initiatives to expand company sales by utilizing pricing strategy and product promotion
  • Develop, build and nurture relationships and rapport with existing and prospective customers
  • Requirement to attend few days of our 3-5-day courses during the year (One in-person Course in Asheville, NC and 5 virtual courses).
  • *This job is largely remote with the main exception being the in-person Asheville course listed above.

Experience Required:

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline (preferred) &/or a minimum of three years of relevant industry experience
  • Must be able and willing to travel throughout the U.S. as needed
  • Must be self-motivated, reliable, disciplined, team-oriented, results driven and exhibit fastidious follow through
  • Have an instinctive desire to quantify results and the drive to continuously strive for higher levels of performance; also, a demonstrated desire to be measured and challenged
  • Have outstanding and meticulous communication skills that enable engagement of senior intellectuals who have limited time to listen; be an engaging, articulate and persuasive communicator; must also be at ease dealing with administrative executive assistants in a respectful manner
  • Innovative and resourceful
  • Proficient using power-point, Google Docs, Zoom, e-mail, social networking, Excel, Microsoft Word, Canva and other media that will be critical to the success in this role

COMPENSATION

  • Top pay for top performer; commensurate with experience, background, skills and ability to execute the mission.
  • Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000 per year (Additional Opportunity for Performance related pay and Bonus).
