COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary plus commission. Base salary starts at $45,000, with On-Target Earnings (OTE) potential ranging from $75,000 – $100,000+ annually, depending on performance. High performers have the opportunity to exceed this range.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating revenue by developing new business and securing orders from new and existing customers within an assigned territory. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering customized labeling and packaging solutions that meet customer production, compliance, and branding needs.
This is a field-based position that requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers, conduct product presentations, and develop new business opportunities. The role manages key customer relationships while actively prospecting for new accounts across multiple industries including food processing, beverage, manufacturing, distribution, and retail packaging.
Working collaboratively with internal teams, the Outside Sales Representative ensures that customer solutions are delivered effectively and align with Bollin Label Systems’ standards for quality products and dependable service.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):
Required: 5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in B2B environment required. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Experience managing key accounts and developing new business within an assigned territory. Valid driver’s license.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred. Experience in printing, labeling, packaging, food & beverage, or manufacturing industry preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
This position requires frequent travel within the assigned territory (about 70% travel), including driving to customer locations and attending meetings or trade shows. Travel may involve overnight trips. The role may require standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting materials up to 50 pounds. The position also requires strong concentration, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
CONFIDENTIALITY:
This position may have access to confidential company and customer information, including pricing, customer lists, sales strategies, and proprietary product information. The employee is expected to maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
CHARACTER OF SUPERVISION:
This position works under general supervision and is expected to operate with a high level of independence while managing an assigned territory and meeting established sales goals.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This is a hybrid role that includes travel to customer locations, remote work, and occasional time in the office. Work may take place in customer facilities, offices, or trade show environments.

This position regularly interacts with customers, prospective clients, and internal teams including sales, production, and operations to support business development and customer needs.
