We are expanding and seeking driven Independent Sales Representatives to grow our client base within assigned territories.

Position Overview

As a 1099 Independent Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and closing service agreements with small, mid-sized, and enterprise-level organizations.

This is a performance-based opportunity ideal for self-starters who thrive in business development environments and are comfortable engaging decision-makers directly. You will build relationships, educate prospects on our staffing solutions, and close recurring monthly service agreements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business through:
  • Door-to-door business visits
  • Cold calling
  • Networking
  • Referrals and relationship building
  • Identify key decision-makers (owners, executives, office managers)
  • Present VirtuAssist’s virtual assistant solutions clearly and professionally
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand each business’s staffing gaps
  • Schedule and conduct virtual discovery or sales meetings
  • Deliver structured sales presentations
  • Close monthly service agreements
  • Accurately document all activity in the CRM
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects
  • Meet or exceed established monthly revenue and activity targets
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to leadership

Compensation Structure

  • Commission-based earnings (uncapped)
  • Recurring commission opportunities on closed accounts
  • Performance incentives available

This is a 1099 independent contractor role. No base salary.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 1 year of B2B, direct sales, or territory sales experience preferred
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Confident speaking with business owners and executives
  • Self-disciplined and performance-driven
  • Comfortable working independently in the field
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
