Outside Sales Representative- Commercial Roofing

Duties

  • Engage with prospective customers through door-to-door outreach, community events, and networking to generate new business opportunities
  • Present compelling sales pitches for solar energy solutions, energy-saving products, or related services tailored to client needs
  • Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and follow up effectively
  • Negotiate terms and close sales by understanding customer requirements and offering customized solutions
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop multilingual campaigns that reach diverse audiences
  • Maintain excellent customer service by addressing questions, providing technical information, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process
  • Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism and enthusiasm to inspire team members and foster a positive sales environment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales, especially in roofing sales, medical sales, or technical sales environments
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals confidently and effectively
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer data and sales pipelines
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse customer bases
  • Experience in door-to-door sales or direct customer outreach is a plus
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and lead generation techniques to maximize outreach efforts
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate oneself and others in a fast-paced setting
