Compensation: Hourly ($26 - $30) + Commission + Company Vehicle

As our Safety Division continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to help expand our services across the Southcoast region of Massachusetts.

Position Overview

The First Aid, CPR & AED Sales Representative is responsible for developing new client relationships and expanding GMEC-EMT’s safety programs throughout the assigned territory.

This is a business-to-business outside sales role that requires proactive outreach through:

  • Cold calls
  • Email outreach
  • In-person business visits
  • Networking events
  • Conferences and trade shows
  • Relationship-based referrals

The position is part-time (18–24 hours per week) with the opportunity to transition into a full-time territory sales role as the division grows.

A company vehicle will be provided during working hours.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Generate new leads and identify prospective clients
  • Conduct outreach to businesses, schools, municipalities, medical offices, and public agencies
  • Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with decision makers
  • Present GMEC-EMT safety programs and solutions

Sales & Client Acquisition

Sell a full portfolio of safety products and services including:

  • ANSI-compliant first aid kits and cabinet restocking programs
  • AED units, accessories, and inspection programs
  • OSHA-compliant CPR, AED, and First Aid training
  • Stop the Bleed / bleeding control programs
  • Workplace safety supplies and emergency preparedness equipment

Territory Development

  • Develop a structured territory coverage plan
  • Maintain consistent outreach and prospecting activity
  • Track leads and sales activity within a CRM system
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients

Account Management

  • Assist with quoting and order fulfillment
  • Coordinate post-sale service and training delivery
  • Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts

Performance Metrics

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Number of new business accounts opened
  • End of week reports directly to management
  • Revenue generated from new customers
  • Consistent sales outreach activity
  • Territory growth
  • Customer retention and satisfaction

Qualifications

Required

  • Valid driver's license, and safe driving record
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills

Preferred

  • Proven B2B sales or outside sales experience
  • Experience in first aid, AED, medical supplies, or safety services
  • Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, or workplace safety regulations (training provided)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional training
