Rogers Landscape is seeking a proven Outside Sales Representative (Designer/Estimator) to join our high-end residential design-build landscape construction team.

This role is for someone who already knows how to:

• Conduct complex residential site visits
• Qualify serious clients
• Build accurate, profitable designs and estimates
• Manage a sales pipeline with discipline
• Close projects ethically and consistently

If you do not have real construction or estimating experience, this role is not the right fit.

THE ROLE

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will own the sales process from initial site visit through signed contract, working closely with design and operations teams for seamless handoffs.

You will represent the company professionally, manage your pipeline accurately, and produce estimates that protect both client trust and company profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct on-site consultations and project qualification
• Evaluate scope, site conditions, and client expectations
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, proposals, and design packages
• Price projects responsibly and profitably
• Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline records
• Collaborate with design and project management teams
• Uphold company values in all client and internal interactions

NON-NEGOTIABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of landscape or construction estimating experience
• Proven experience estimating projects $50,000+
• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience with estimating and CRM software
• Excellent math, communication, and organizational skills
• Valid California driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Ability to commute daily to Loomis, CA

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

• Competitive commission on gross sales revenue
• Quarterly performance bonus
• Additional design incentive for each completed client design tied to a signed contract
• Realistic earnings: $80,000 – $120,000+ annually based on performance
