The Role
We are hiring a Sales Territory Manager to drive new business through boots-on-the-ground, in-person sales.
This is a true hunter role — you will own your territory, build your pipeline from scratch, and close deals through relationship-driven selling.
This is not a remote-only role. Success requires being in the field, meeting decision-makers, and creating opportunities face-to-face.

What You’ll Do
- Prospect and generate new business through:
- Cold outreach
- In-person office visits (“drop-ins”)
- Networking and local relationship building
- Self-sourced and purchased leads
- Own the full sales cycle from prospect to close
- Conduct discovery meetings and identify revenue opportunities for practices
- Present tailored solutions aligned to client needs
- Partner with internal teams for proposal development and delivery
- Maintain strict pipeline and activity tracking in HubSpot
- Use RingCentral for calls and texting
- Conduct virtual meetings via Zoom
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Development & Growth and internal support teams
- Represent the company in the field and within local healthcare communities
Ramp & Performance Expectations
Ramp Period (Weeks 1–2)
- Training on RCM, services, and internal systems
- Learn the cadence and metrics expected to keep
Early Production (Weeks 3–6)
- Begin setting appointments by Week 4
- First deal expected by Week 6
Ongoing Expectations
- 4 qualified leads generated per week
- 3 meetings set per week
- 1 proposal delivered per week
- Consistent pipeline growth and new contracts signed monthly
Travel & Field Expectations
- 3–4 days per week in the field
- Frequent in-person meetings with medical practices
- Overnight travel required based on territory coverage
- Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 2+ years of healthcare or medical sales experience
- Strong preference for RCM / medical billing experience (sales or account management)
- Proven ability to prospect, build pipeline, and close deals
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
- Disciplined with daily activity tracking and pipeline management
- Self-starter comfortable working independently in a field-based role
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Working knowledge of HIPAA
Preferred
- Experience selling:
- RCM / billing services
- EMR/EHR platforms
- Healthcare SaaS or practice management tools
- Existing relationships within your territory
- Strong local market knowledge

Avosina Standardized Compensation for Sales Territory Manager
Base Salary for Territory Managers $45,000 to $60,000 (Based on experience)
Sales Territory Manager Commission Rates
1. RCM / Billing / AR / Collections: 7% of collected revenue over the first year once RCM activities commence.
2. Credentialing / Coding / Consulting / Auditing / Compliance / Practice Management / Recruitment services: 7% of overall value of the service contract.
3. Marketing services: 7% of collected revenue for the length of the contract.
4. Technology Support/MSP services: 7% of collected revenue for the first 12-months of the contract or for each month the contract is valid.
