Outsourced Accounting Intern

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our outsourced accounting team. You’ll assist with core bookkeeping tasks, account reconciliations, and financial reporting for multiple clients across various industries.

Description

Responsibilities

Assist with recording day-to-day financial transactions using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite)
Prepare and reconcile bank and credit card statements
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
Help generate and format basic financial reports
Assist with month-end close procedures
Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of client financial records
Maintain documentation and organize client files
Collaborate with senior accountants and staff to ensure client deadlines are met

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
Experience with accounting software is a plus
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
