Over The Road (OTR) Van Driver

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a dependable Over The Road Van Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting goods within a 300–800 mile radius. The ideal candidate is committed to safety, reliable, and capable of handling deliveries efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a cargo van to deliver goods to assigned locations.
• Ensure items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Deliver no-touch freight—drivers are not required to load or unload at delivery points.
• Use a cell phone and delivery app to track routes and communication.
• Follow scheduled routes and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any issues.
• Communicate with warehouse staff, management, and customers regarding delivery status.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and occasional heavy lifting.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an OTR van driver or similar delivery role preferred.
• Comfortable working independently over long distances.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
