Over the Road - State of Texas Class A CDL - Hot Shot Driver

SERIOUS CDL CLASS A DRIVERS ONLY
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and skilled, Flatbed, CLASS A CDL, Over the Road, HOT SHOT Truck Driver to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating flatbeds and tractor-trailers.

As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate Ford 350 and a 40' Flatbed, Goose Neck Trailer.
• Strap, Chain, and Tarp as necessary.
• Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and deliveries made.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Adhere to all company policies related to safety, compliance, and customer service.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Issued CDL Class A Commercial Driver's License with the appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
• 2 Years as a CDL Class A driver required
• Must be 21 years or older.
• This is an Over the Road Driving Position under FMCSA/DOT Requirements.
• Proven experience driving flatbeds and tractor-trailers.
• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with dispatchers and customers.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe driving record and adhering to all traffic laws.
