Contract Duration: 12 months (Extendable)
Salary: 8,000 QAR Full Package All inclusive
Working Schedule: 6 Days per Week | 10 Hours per Day (Including 1 Hour Lunch Break)

Overhaul Supervisor – Rolling Stock

Our client, a globally recognized leader in industrial automation and digital solutions is seeking an experienced and driven Overhaul Supervisor to lead their Rolling Stock overhaul operations at PMS Tramway Depot, Doha.

This is a safety-critical leadership role responsible for delivering the daily production plan across a range of rolling stock components including Bogie, Coupler, Gangway, Doors, HVAC, and other key systems.

Key Responsibilities: Rolling Stock Component Overhaul

• Lead and oversee overhaul and repair activities in line with production plans and Siemens Rolling Stock VMI.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, maintenance instructions, and railway regulations.
• Produce and review complex analytical technical reports.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technicians.
• Support depot incident response and technical investigations.
• Ensure quality standards are met through work and documentation checks.

Production Planning & Operational Delivery

• Plan and manage resources including workforce, tools, plant, materials, and third-party services.
• Execute the daily production plan to meet operational and contractual KPIs.
• Ensure optimal shift coverage and effective handovers.
• Maintain operational logs and performance records.
• Build extraordinary or complex tasks into production plans.
• Monitor deferred work and minimize downtime, delays, and customer complaints.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure expectations are met.

Essential Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in an operational or engineering environment.
• Strong organizational and production planning skills.
• Good knowledge of IT systems and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental requirements.
• Ability to manage performance, productivity, and operational KPIs.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Technical knowledge of Rolling Stock maintenance practices or similar engineering field.
• ONC qualification (or equivalent experience) – Production roles.
• Basic understanding of continuous improvement principles.
• Contractual and commercial awareness.
