Location: PMS Tramway Depot, Qatar Education City, Doha
Contract Duration: 12 months (Extendable)
Salary: 5,000 QAR Full Package All inclusive
Working Schedule: 6 Days per Week | 10 Hours per Day (Including 1 Hour Lunch Break)

Overhaul Technician – Rolling Stock

Our client, a globally recognized leader in industrial automation and digital solutions is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Overhaul Technician to join their team at the PMS Tramway Depot. This is a full-time, safety-critical role supporting the overhaul and maintenance of rolling stock components to ensure safe and reliable fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake overhaul and repair of Bogie, Coupler, Gangway, Doors, HVAC, and other rolling stock components in line with industry standards and Siemens Rolling Stock VMI.
• Deliver work in accordance with the production overhaul plan.
• Produce complex, analytical technical reports.
• Provide technical mentoring and support to team members.
• Specialize in areas of technical expertise.
• Support technical investigations and depot incidents as required.
• Carry out additional duties in line with operational requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience in a mechanical or electrical engineering or process-driven environment.
• Basic fault-finding capability.
• Ability to accurately complete operational records in line with procedures.
• Ability to interpret technical publications and engineering documentation.
• Experience producing detailed analytical technical reports.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, including:
• Manual handling
• COSHH
• Biohazards
• Competent in using computer systems.
• Ability to care for and maintain tools, equipment, and PPE.
• Preferred Knowledge-Familiarity with TACT, Equinox, or CORMAP systems.
