Overhead Crane Electrician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical background and experience in servicing and repairing overhead cranes. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in overhead cranes.
• Perform routine maintenance on overhead cranes, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welders. and diagnostic equipment to conduct repairs on overhead cranes.
• Read and interpret schematics and OEM manuals to troubleshoot problems effectively.
• Assist in fabrication tasks as needed to support repair projects.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs and repair status.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience in industrial overhead cranes
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in overhead cranes.
• Familiarity with crane repair, brake repair, alignment procedures, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects as required for maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of how to operate manlifts, forklifts, lull is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
