Job Title: Overhead Crane Operator (20 Positions)

Job Summary

Pigeon Engineering is seeking 20 experienced Overhead Crane Operators to support ongoing project in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidates will be responsible for safe and efficient operation of overhead cranes for lifting, moving, and positioning materials in compliance with site safety standards and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes safely to lift, transport, and position materials and equipment.
• Follow lifting plans, hand signals, and radio instructions from riggers and supervisors.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and report defects immediately.
• Ensure loads are secured properly before lifting.
• Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel and equipment at all times.
• Comply strictly with company HSE policies and Qatar safety regulations.
• Perform basic crane maintenance and housekeeping of assigned work areas.
• Support project activities as instructed by site management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Overhead Crane Operator (industrial / construction environment preferred).
• Valid Overhead Crane Operator License and third party certificate.
• Experience working in EPC / industrial projects is an advantage.
• Good understanding of lifting operations and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and able to work in site conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• English communication skills (basic to intermediate).
• Gulf experience preferred.
