Overhead Crane Operator (2nd Shift)

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Overhead Crane Operator to join our dynamic team for 2nd shift duty(this includes a shift premium). In this vital role, you will operate overhead cranes and heavy equipment to safely move, lift, and position materials around the manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure efficient workflow, adherence to safety standards, and smooth material handling processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while utilizing your mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation skills.

Duties

• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts and order pickers with precision and safety awareness.
• Rig loads securely using appropriate rigging techniques to prevent accidents or damage during lifting and transportation.
• Handle materials efficiently across warehouse environments, including loading and unloading shipments.
• Conduct routine inspections of crane equipment and heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with team members to plan lifting operations and execute tasks according to project timelines.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards.
• Assist in shipping & receiving activities by managing inbound/outbound materials and maintaining accurate logs.

Experience

• Proven experience operating overhead cranes or similar heavy equipment in construction or warehouse settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane operation, rigging, and maintenance procedures.
• Hands-on experience with materials handling, shipping & receiving processes, and warehouse logistics.
• Familiarity with construction site safety practices and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to operate additional machinery such as forklifts and order pickers is highly desirable.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
