Overhead Door of Lafayette Service Technician
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a dependable Overhead Door Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll install, service, and repair overhead doors and operators for residential and commercial customers. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and working with a team that values quality and safety, we’d love to hear from you.
Pay & Career Growth:
- Entry Level: $20-$21/hour.
- Level 1: $22-$23/hour.
- Level 2: $24-$28/hour. Level 3: $29-$31/hour.

What You’ll Do:
- Install and service overhead doors and openers.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Replace doors, springs, and related components.
- Safely operate tools, lifts, and equipment.
- Complete work orders and job documentation.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers.
- Follow safety guidelines on every job.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Mechanical, construction, or hands-on experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a physical environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
Work Environment:
- Work at residential and commercial job sites.
- Local travel required.
- Active, hands-on work in a team-oriented environment.
