Overhead Door Technician

Buitrago Door Service, Inc. is a locally owned commercial door company serving industrial and food production facilities throughout the Central Valley. We specialize in the installation, service, and repair of commercial and industrial door systems in warehouse and manufacturing environments.

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Commercial Door Technician with construction or mechanical experience who takes pride in quality work and strong customer service.

Every day is different — our technicians troubleshoot problems in the field, install new equipment, and help keep our customers’ facilities operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair gates, commercial and industrial doors and dock equipment including high-speed doors, roll-up doors, freezer doors, man doors, and dock levelers
• Diagnose mechanical and operational issues and perform repairs in the field
• Communicate with customers regarding work performed and job status
• Complete service reports and work orders accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized company service vehicle
• Follow company and jobsite safety procedures

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, mechanical repair, or industrial equipment service preferred
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and pride in quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy door components
• Comfortable working on ladders, platforms, and scissor lifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Welding: 5 years (Required)
