<Responsibilities>

• Monitor residents’ safety and well-being throughout the night, including observing vital signs and overall condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as toileting, mobility support, and personal hygiene.
• Administer medications following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality.
• Respond promptly to residents’ needs, providing emotional support and comfort during overnight hours.
• Conduct regular patient observations to identify changes in health status or behavior, documenting findings accurately.
• Prepare nutritious meals or snacks as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, social workers, and family members to update care plans and ensure comprehensive support.

<Qualifications>

• Proven experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes is highly preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or hospice care is a plus.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards is essential.
• Ability to monitor vital signs accurately and recognize signs of medical emergencies.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or memory impairments is advantageous.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist residents with mobility using appropriate techniques and equipment.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
