Overnight CILA - Direct Support Professional

Kaskaskia Workshop, Inc. is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team as an Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) in a 4-person CILA home. This full-time overnight position plays an important role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities in a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment.

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-time, Overnight Shift
• Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Location: 4-person CILA home, Centralia IL
• Schedule is posted 2 weeks in advance; days may vary based on the needs of the home and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight supervision and ensure resident safety and well-being
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Support personal care needs, hygiene, mobility, and medication administration
• Complete overnight documentation and report any concerns or incidents
• Perform routine room and safety checks throughout the shift
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment
• Follow all health, safety, and infection control procedures
• Use assistive equipment safely, including mobility devices or lifts if needed
• Work collaboratively with the support team to provide consistent, person-centered care

Qualifications

• MUST be DSP Certified — non-certified applicants will not be considered
• Previous experience in a group home, CILA, nursing home, assisted living, or caregiving setting preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Ability to work independently and remain attentive during overnight hours
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude
