Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and skilled
Overnight Dispatcher
to join our team. In this role, you will handle emergency and non-emergency calls, make quick decisions, and coordinate appropriate responses. The ideal candidate is highly organized, computer literate, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure. Strong communication skills are essential. While boating knowledge is preferred, it is not required.
Responsibilities

Receive inbound emergency and non-emergency calls

Collect and document critical information from callers

Prioritize calls based on urgency

Dispatch appropriate response units to locations

Monitor and respond to VHF radios

Transmit information to the necessary departments or personnel

Process invoices and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Previous experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role preferred

Excellent typing and data entry skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with emergency response protocols (preferred)

Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
