Overnight Driver Manager

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate overnight driver teams, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries across multiple locations.
• Utilize GPS, and transportation management systems to plan routes, monitor progress, and optimize fleet efficiency.
• Maintain accurate data entry of shipping & receiving records, freight manifests, and delivery logs to support supply chain transparency.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, carriers, and clients via phone etiquette and professional communication skills.
• Monitor fleet management systems to track vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, and driver compliance with safety regulations.
• Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within logistics operations.

Experience

• Proven experience managing transportation or logistics teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong familiarity with transportation management systems
• Knowledge of GPS technology.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data related to freight movement, supply chain operations, or fleet management.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in phone etiquette, typing speed, and multi-line phone system operation.
• Experience working with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers or in shipping & receiving environments preferred.
• Prior experience utilizing analysis skills for route optimization, freight planning, or transportation planning initiatives. Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
