Position Type: W-2 Employee Compensation: $7.25 per hour

North Hills Pet Care is seeking dependable, professional individuals for our Overnight & Extended Stay positions. This role is for those who are committed to a high level of attentive care and feel comfortable staying in clients' homes to maintain the safety and routines of their pets.

Available Roles: You may apply for one or both of these specific services:

• Overnight Pet Sitter: Typically a 11-hour assignment in the client’s home. (Paid for all hours, including sleep time).
• Extended Stay Pet Sitter: Longer-duration assignments. These include active care periods and off-duty periods. (Paid for all hours except for designated sleep periods).

The Expectations: We provide premium care. This is not a passive role; you are expected to be engaged with the pets and the maintenance of the home.

• Pet Care: Feeding, walking, administering medication, and following detailed care routines.
• Home Care: Ensuring the home is secure, tidy, and respected.
• Communication: Sending frequent, professional updates and photos to clients.
• Reliability: You must have your own reliable vehicle to commute to and from the client's residence.

Scheduling:

• Assignments are in Allison Park, Mars, Cranberry, Wexford and surrounding North Hills communities.
• This is a flexible, part-time role. Hours are not guaranteed and vary based on client travel schedules.
• Note: If you are also interested in our Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (daily visits) position, please mention that in your application, as these roles can be combined for more hours.

Requirements:

• 18+ years of age and able to pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Smartphone for communication and scheduling apps.
• Previous pet care experience preferred.
