Overnight Pet Sitter 7pm-7am - Riverside, CA

Superpet Services - Dog Walking and Pet Sitting has an Overnight Pet Sitter opening! We're looking for someone with high confidence working with a variety of dogs and cats and a desire to make steady side-gig income doing what they love!

Job Summary

An Overnight Pet Sitter stays the night in a clients home, feeding, walking, and cleaning up after the clients pets in the morning and evening. The required hours are 7pm-7am, and you are welcome to come earlier or stay later, depending on your schedule. Clients may book one night only or a week or two at a time. You'll often be needed to cover clients' holidays, weekend plans, and spring/summer/winter breaks, so we will prioritize applicants who are willing to work during traditional holiday seasons and on weekends.

This is a great fit for college students, retirees, remote workers, and those who work 9-5's needing extra income.

Pay: This is a 1099-NEC contract position that pays $44 per night plus tips! We offer bonuses for working on holidays. Paid every other week via direct deposit.

We use an app, similar to Rover or Wag!, that sends clients report cards and updates regarding the walk.

High potential for other dog walking or pet visit jobs throughout the year, if interested!

Requirements

- Must be at least 18 years old, have a working smartphone, and reliable transportation.

- Must have 7/day per week (7pm-7am) availability.

- Must be willing to work on holidays.

- Must be comfortable staying overnight in clients homes & pick up after yourself.

- Must be able to pass a background check.

- Must have previous dog handling experience, especially with large, working breeds.

- Must speak and type fluent English and communicate well over text messages.

- Must have a positive, friendly demeanor.

- Must treat animals with respect, care, and attention, ensuring their health and safety.

- Must have an understanding of how to handle dogs in uncontrollable situations.
