Overnight Route Monitor

Overview

Dedicated Logistics Partner (DLP) is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Overnight Route Monitor to support our Windsor Locks operation. This position plays a critical role in overnight transportation execution and supports all three operational waves: Ford, Co-Shared, and GM/Mack/Volvo.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with drivers and dispatch, and maintains strong attention to operational detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all overnight operational waves (Ford, Co-Shared, GM/Mack/Volvo)
• Monitor and track daily transportation activities to ensure timely departures and arrivals
• Conduct driver check-in and departure procedures
• Support wave staging and scanning functions, including NUVISS as needed
• Assist dispatch with real-time operational needs
• Coordinate and support OSD (Over, Short, and Damaged) resolution with drivers
• Ensure proper freight presentation and completed paperwork
• Maintain accurate documentation and report discrepancies
• Uphold professional communication standards with drivers and internal team members

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, warehouse, or logistics operations preferred
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Comfortable working overnight hours in an on-site operational environment
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency (experience with transportation management systems is a plus)
