Overnight Shift Certified Medication Technician (Med Tech)

Medication Tech - This position requires a current and active Medication Administration Training Certification in the state of Pennsylvania.

Med Tech Responsibility Highlights include:

• Administers the correct oral and external medications to residents daily.
• Monitor the therapeutic effects of medications.
• Reports observed changes in behavior and clinical status to nurse.
• Bathe and assist residents with their ADL's
• Monitor stock levels of equipment, etc. to verify they are maintained on premises to meet residents' needs while recommending changes in techniques and/or procedures for cost-effective and efficient operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or administration.
• Be a team player
• Function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
• possess and display a genuine caring for, and interest in, maintaining and enhancing a positive physical, emotional, and psychosocial environment for residents, visitors, and personnel. Relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally unstable and/or volatile residents of the facility.

Med Tech Minimum Qualifications:

• must genuinely care about others
• CPR, First Aide Certification
• Current Med Tech certification
