JOB DESCRIPTION: Overnight Facility Cleaning and Maintenance Crew

As we continue to grow, we are building an in-house janitorial/maintenance team to maintain the cleanliness, functionality, and professionalism our providers expect.
Position Overview
We are hiring a two-person janitorial team to clean and maintain 7 locations. This is a full-time role working across multiple facilities. This is an overnight shift position.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, lobbies, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas across multiple locations
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and/or buff floors as needed
- Clean interior windows, glass doors, and mirrors
- Clean & disinfect front windows & doors (inside and out)
- Dust & wipe down all surfaces including furniture, windowsills and decorations
- Refill paper products, soap, and other restroom/kitchen supplies
- Clean, disinfect & empty trash receptacles in lobby, kitchen and restrooms
- Clean microwave (inside and out) & outside of fridge
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling in compliance with local waste regulations
- Washing machines – ensuring that the interior and exterior are wiped down and clean
- Maintain janitorial supply closets in a neat and organized condition
- Monitor supply inventory and notify management when restocking is needed
- Ensure cleaning is completed on schedule and meets quality standards
- Check the mail at each location
- Ensure that the water jugs are full, and that the dispenser is stocked with cups, refill water and cups when needed
- Ensure that the lobby slideshow is playing at each location
- Ensure that appropriate music is playing at each location
- Lock and secure premises after cleaning
- Report maintenance issues such as plumbing leaks, HVAC malfunctions, or lighting outages to management
- Perform light preventative maintenance tasks (when applicable), such as the following listed below:
- Changing air filters, tightening door handles, patching minor wall damage, replacing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles when needed etc. (This list is not exhaustive and can change depending on the current need)
- Keeping the company vehicle clean, inside and outside of vehicle
- Keeping up to date with vehicle maintenance and promptly informing management of any issues or upcoming service needs
- Communicate with management regarding any tenant issues, emergencies, or unusual activity observed during cleaning
- Follow all safety, health, and sanitation policies—especially in clinical/healthcare environments
Qualifications
- Prior janitorial experience (commercial or healthcare environment preferred)
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform physical work
- Basic handyman/maintenance experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Not afraid to ask questions when unsure
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Valid and up to date car insurance
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be okay doing a test clean prior to employment
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $18–$21/hour per person (based on experience and skills; handyman skills may command higher pay)
