Position Overview

We are seeking an Overseas Education Consultant / Advisor with in-depth knowledge of European higher education systems, universities, admissions, and visa regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for counseling students interested in studying across Europe, providing accurate, up-to-date guidance on universities, programs, fees, scholarships, and post-study opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand student profiles, academic goals, and budget considerations.
• Provide accurate and personalized advice on European study destinations, including country-specific admission processes, deadlines, and requirements.
• Assess student eligibility and recommend suitable universities and programs based on academic and professional background.
• Assist students with the complete application process: documentation, SOPs, LORs, university applications, and visa filing.
• Stay updated with changes in European education policies, visa rules, and post-study work regulations.
• Achieve enrollment targets by converting prospective students into successful applicants.
• Represent the company at seminars, education fairs, and university visits.
• Provide pre-departure briefings and post-admission support.

The ideal candidate must have proven expertise in the following European study destinations:

Germany

• Public vs. private universities, TU9/Excellence Universities
• Application portals: uni-assist, DAAD, direct university applications
• Studienkolleg pathways, blocked account requirements, visa process

France

• Grande Écoles vs. public universities
• Campus France procedure, language requirements (DELF/DALF)
• Scholarship programs (Eiffel, Charpak, etc.)

Netherlands

• Research universities vs. universities of applied sciences (HBO)
• Nuffic certification, visa (MVV) process, housing guidance
• Popular universities: University of Amsterdam, Delft, Erasmus

Italy

• Public university admissions through Universitaly
• Pre-enrollment process, visa requirements, affordable tuition fees
• Top institutions: Politecnico di Milano, University of Bologna

Scandinavian Countries

• Sweden: University Admissions portal, scholarships
• Denmark: Optagelse portal, tuition fees and grants
• Norway: Public university (mostly tuition-free) admissions
• Finland: Studyinfo.fi, university and UAS options

Other Key European Destinations

• Spain: Public vs. private universities, language requirements
• Poland: Ministry attestation, medical universities
• Czech Republic: Charles University, affordable education
• Ireland: Popular courses, visa and work rights
• Switzerland: ETH Zurich, EPFL, high living costs
• Austria, Hungary, Malta, etc.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3–4 years as an Overseas Education Consultant with European destination expertise.
• In-depth, up-to-date knowledge of European university rankings, courses, fees, scholarships, and visa processes.
• Strong ability to match student profiles with suitable European universities.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills.
• Result-driven with a track record of meeting targets.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of a European language (German, French, Spanish, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiar with MS Office and CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Personal study or work experience in Europe.
• Certifications from recognized bodies (ICEF, DAAD, Campus France, etc.).
• Existing network with European university representatives.
