Overview
We are seeking energetic and reliable Owner Operators and CDL Drivers to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our logistics operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight across various routes. Whether you operate your own truck or drive a company-owned vehicle, your dedication will help keep our supply chain moving smoothly.

Duties

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
• Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary
• Transport a variety of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and general freight, ensuring secure delivery at each stop
• Route driving with a focus on optimizing delivery schedules while maintaining compliance with hours-of-service regulations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure vehicle safety standards are met
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered during trips

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred
• Proven truck driving experience with a focus on commercial driving environments
• Familiarity with different trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
• Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other handling tools
• Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety protocols for long-haul or local deliveries
• Experience in delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route management is highly valued
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with dispatch and customers effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week

Expected hours: 40 per week
