As a vital link in our logistics network, you will leverage your truck driving skills to deliver freight safely and on time, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of vehicle types, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, all while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and dump trucks to transport freight across designated routes.
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary.
• Plan optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, and delivery documentation for compliance purposes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any route adjustments needed.
• Ensure proper handling of specialized freight such as refrigerated goods or hazardous materials when applicable.

<Skills>

• Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery operations.
• Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles and various trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks.
• Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment when required.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo handling.
• Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Good communication skills for interacting with dispatch teams and customers professionally.
