Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers across various routes, including local and regional deliveries
• Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo safety and security
• Handle different types of freight such as refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, or dry van shipments
• Maintain compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on manual transmission trucks and trailers
• Manage route driving logistics to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding load status, delays, or issues during transit

Experience

• Proven commercial driving experience with a valid CDL license (Class A preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently
• Experience driving refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or box trucks is highly desirable
• Prior delivery driver experience with load & unload responsibilities across diverse freight types
• Familiarity with route planning and route driving best practices for timely deliveries
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to freight handling and vehicle operation
