Owner/Operator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently across various routes. As an Owner Operator, you will leverage your expertise in truck driving to manage your own vehicle while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

• Operate a variety of trucks including flatbed, dump truck, refrigerated trailer, and tanker.
• Drive assigned routes to transport freight to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Manage manual transmission vehicles as required for specific routes.

Requirements

• Owns cargo van, sprinter, box truck and large straight truck
• Cargo and sprinter should be no older than 2014. For box and straight truck should be no older than 2007.
• Require commercial Insurance with all required coverage ($1,000,000 for bodily injury/automobile liability and $100,000 with $1000 deductible for motor trucking cargo as well as the list of drivers.) and National Freight Lines INC listed as an additional insured (176 N Highway 42 #1002, Asheboro, NC 27203 ) and certificate holder. Radius should be 500+/unlimited
